Clear every dot in five mazes. Four of the Crazy 88 are hunting you. Eat a Hanzo star and for a few seconds they are the ones running.
Chill got himself cornered in a dojo built like a puzzle. Eat every dot and the floor opens onto the next one, five deep, each one a maze he has never walked before. Four of the Crazy 88 patrol it in hoods, and they do not all think the same way: one comes straight at you, one cuts ahead to where you are going, one works off the first one's angle, and one loses his nerve when he gets close.
The four Hanzo stars in the corners flip it. For a few seconds the hoods turn blue and run, and catching them pays 200, 400, 800, then 1600 — so herd them before you bite. The payout resets with every star. Every maze also puts its own prize out twice, near the house: Hanzo steel, then sake, a lantern, a $KILLCHILL coin, and gold at the end, climbing from a hundred to a thousand.
Somewhere around halfway through a maze a 1-up drifts into the tunnel and keeps going. It does not wait for you, and it only comes once a maze, so when the message reads it is worth leaving whatever you were doing.
Each maze is cut fresh, with no dead ends anywhere in it. Nothing in here is a corridor you cannot get out of; it is only ever a question of which way you leave.
